Thank You

Subject: Thank You

Message Body:
I am so excited that my family has found your  wonderful Sanctuary. My daughter Katie and I love how you help all of the precious animals and are grateful  that we can be a part of saving them. Katie cannot stop talking about the amazing visits we have had. Not many people have seen some of the unique animals you care for, let alone, being able to touch and feed them. It has raised our awareness of how many people take these animals for granted. The love and care they receive while staying with you is the best. We hope to have many more visits and will continue to support everything you do . We appreciate all that you do and are happy that we in some small way can play a part of saving and caring for these animals.
                   Thank You so much ,
                    We Love you

20 Mini-Horses Rescued!

A few pictures of some of the 20 mini-horses Safe Sanctuary rescued, nursed back to health,  and all have been PLACED.

As you can see, the last little foal (born Easter Sunday 2009!) is a bit sick, but he is on the mend!

.

Our New Residents!

We received 2 birds recently and here they are!

Rasjha Our Camel

Rasjha is our dromedary camel. Here is a picture of him in our pasture. He has since become one of our sanctuary’s residents.

Above and beyond the call of duty.

We do our best to help find a home for the animals that we can not take. With a tiger, it was very hard to find a licensed facility to take the tiger since a lot of tiger sanctuaries are full. We kept looking for months and months and months and finally found a licensed facility to take the tiger. Safe sanctuary took 5 of its volunteers out to town and for two days built the tiger its new home!!! We’re happy to report as the finishing touches were being done, the tiger arrived. Now it’s very happy in its new home, complete with pool and all.

Thanks to all our volunteers!!

Shantie our wolf is here to stay..

Shantie comes from a VERY LOVING FAMILY and due to unfortunate circumstances they had to part with her. It was  very hard and emotional for all. BUT!! We are happy to report the Shantie has adjusted very well here at our sanctuary! Shantie gets to run and play with Muzzy our aussie who is her best friend.. (what would we do with out the muzz). Shantie always has an attendant watching her at all times when she is lose and playing. Shantie is loved by all here and we are very happy to have her…

Shantie has some medical problems as well so we are sorry to report that she can not be adopted out. We are also looking for donations to help with Shantie’s medical needs.. so if you would like to help please contact us.

Our New Memorial Pond

Here is our new refurbished pond. It is surrounded by Florida fieldstone and has a lovely waterfall in the corner. The pond has always been a focal point of the sanctuary and our aim is to create a place of tranquility and contemplation.

Help us in our continuing service to animals in need and create a unique memorial to a departed loved one or a beloved pet by purchasing a Memorial Brick. The cost is $100.00 per brick. These engraved bricks will create a lasting memory around our Memorial Pond.

If you would like to purchase a brick fill out or donation form (link below).
